My sister Sieara was a really amazing person. She would give her last to anyone in need. She passed away at the age of 32, leaving behind two children. In honor of her life, I created this badge. You can read more about her story here:

Due to the loss of my sister, I am a strong advocate for mental health support for those who struggle with addiction. The prevailing stigma suggests that people start drinking or using drugs and alcohol, and if they simply stop, they will get better. This ideology neglects many individuals who are predisposed to addiction due to mental health issues, including bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, and many others. Support for this badge will go to the direct care of her two children and to fun research into the effects of mental health and addiction.
